6n alarm/immobiliser

Featured Replies

Can anyone confirm the make of this alarm......possibly scorpion? I believe it was a dealer fit option. I've put a fresh battery in the fob but it still isn't responding. Its been disconnected since I've had the car so I reckon it will need pairing up again but I can't find out how. Does anyone know the procedure?

Thanks

I have nearly 18years of mk4/6N1 experiences this year, but i have never seen that alarm or that remote before.

Must be an aftermarket alarm.

If you don't need it, take it out completely.

cheers

Ahhhh a VW Partnumber with "VAG" in the middle.

That is def. made for the british vw market.

Like the mk4/6N1 X.X L/CL/GL/GLX Badges and the Headlightprotectors... just made for the british market, they all do have the "VAG" in the middle of the partsnumber...

I couln't order them here, even if i want to.

Sorry, i don't have any idea about the producer....

cheers

Cheers anyway, gonna replace it with another system I think. I like the idea of getting the remote central locking going again :-D

So what kind of central locking does your car have got? original with airpump in the boot, or also an aftermarket one?

What year is your polo?

Might have something for you what fits ferfectly.........

cheers

1998. Orginal airpump in the boot. Just works off the key for now.

Weird as the polo I bought last week has the same alarm lol, remotes are definitely the same, has two prox sensors, one with a led?

was the module screwed on by behind the console? as I'm sure its an option fit.

mine works,ish...

locks the car and flashes the indicators but want arm after the 20 seconds or so and instead the alarm fires off.

I'm searching for clues, will share if I find anything

Same module in our work caddy van, it is indeed a scorpion alarm, procedure should be online or may be even worth looking down to the local VW and ask if they or the technicians know how to
