6N Gearbox Wanted (to fit 1.4 8V)

Featured Replies

As titled, I need a 6N Gearbox to fit a 1.4 8V engine'd car. Mine is a 1997 6N.
It must be fully working without any whines/rattles/leaks.

I am not desperate for it, it's to be a back up as my diff is whining pretty bad at the moment. I can't afford to get caught out by a sudden failure, I would like a spare in my garage that I can use to fix overnight when necessary.

Please message me with a price and pictures if you have them.

Location local to Warwick/Leamington would be good so I can collect, I am at CV34 6. If you are not within 50 miles please let me know your rough location and also add a price for postage in your message.

If you also have a working, good condition 1.4 8V engine that you would consider selling with the gearbox, please let me know a price for this too.

Hi I have a good 6N gearbox 103k. I also have the engine out of the same car always had regular oil and filter changes ran well, had a new clutch fitted and the head gasket as done, head was skimmed as well (receipts to prove all this work) but the engine has developed an oil leak on it that needed sorting but I scrapped the car due to rust so it was stripped to a bare shell and I kept all the bits. The engine and gearbox are still bolted together and have been dry stored in a barn for around a year. I am in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. I would like £130 for the engine and gearbox or £80 for the gearbox on its own, it would be upto you to arrange for a courier or to pick up yourself I still have loads of other parts as well if required. I can send pics if you supply me with an email address cheers Ian
