There's a list on the FAQ of brands and such.

I find the vibes are good, good quality sound and strong if amped

Focal are quality but can be a little pricey

Would bose fit as I've found some from an Audi a3 and are 6.5"

I've got hertz DSK components in my 6n2. They're very good even running off the head unit.

The a3 ones would fit but wouldn't bother with them. They're designed to be used as a set in an a3.

What's your budget by the way?

I'm looking to an upgrade soon aswell, I'm loking to go for some JBL CS-6c component speakers, god knows if they are any good but they are within my budget

EDIT:

the 6.5" Mid Woofers went in a dream, some minor wiring. but tweeter pods did need quite alot of modification to fit the tweeters into the standard position. would reccomend these speakers 100% buy you defo need a subwoofer to get a propper sound balance.

Hi Rixta, i've found the same speakers laying around in my garage.

I've fitted the 6.5 door speakers but need to get the tweeters in the dash.

How did you do this? I'm not sure how's best to tackle it?

EDIT: to keep the std tweeters to replace in the future i'm just going to bond them to the grills externally so they can be removed when I come to sell the car.
