Polo 6n Boot Glass

Featured Replies

Hey guys.

Last night some kind fellow smashed my rear window in.. when cleaning it up I noticed it seems to be bonded in, as if it's not replaceable on its own? Is this true? Am I going to have to replace the whole boot lid?

If so does anyone have one going? I've looked through the Parts Sale section and Breakers section and there isn't many.

My cars Grey too.. not many of them left :(

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you have windscreen cover on your insurance then you'll be covered for this.

Probably be cheaper and easier than getting a complete tailgate and getting it painted too.

...and if you had no 3rd brakelight before, take (if possible) one with 3rd brakelight. You just need a wire from a connector inside the tailgate to the glass (~30cm) to get it working.

cheers
