Hi all, I have a set of mk2 rev counter clocks for my conversion but they are on 150k where as my engine is on 90k

How can I wind it down?

You can always take the speedo out of your old clocks and put it in the new ones?

My old ones are on like 110k. I've got an afh/avy in mine now and that's the one that's on 90k. Sorry should of been specific

Ahh i see. Winding back clocks is a bit risky as they're obviously not made for it and you can damage them.

I was in the same situation with a bike and tried putting the speedo cable in a drill, but it was so slow... I then used a dremel on full whack and it worked pretty well until it destroyed the cable.

Turning the clocks back can be done but you must be very careful and take your time, you have to strip the clocks all the way down till your left with just the mileage piece and then start to turn back slowly if you are not careful you can snap the little piece of plastic that makes the dials turn it can take a long time I had a set of g40 clock which were on 146k but my car was on 88k it took for about 3 hours to turn the clocks back to the correct mileage

Just reminder don't turn your clocks back more than your car actually is otherwise that's called clocking and I believe it's illegal

Remember that the mileage should be correct for the chassis, not for the engine.
