1:10 Electric RC

Featured Replies

After chatting with a guy at work who runs a 1:10 car, iv'e decided to get one myself.

Where we work has a nice polished concrete floor, perfect for messing around after hours.

I've only bought a second hand chassis and shell so far with radio gear to follow.

My first port of call will be to strip and re-build it so I know my way around it better.

Anyone on here into RCs?

if so got any tips and tricks?

yeah when i was a kid my dad had a nitro, all I remember of it was haring round wickes car park and breaking shells by flipping it!

oh yeah and it taking my dad an hour to get the thing running :P

thats why i figured i'd start with electric, easier to get running

If you need any parts have a look on www.hobyking.com they are really cheap

If I'm planing on taking it out I usually keeping it in the house for the night before to warm it up abit, makes starting it a lot easier!

They eat batteries too...

Are you gunna go for a off-road style or track?
