If you did you'll know about the R8 and mk5 Golf incident

The organisers have now said that the meet will be moved and it will be an invite only meet!!! Location TBC

oh right i was not there i finished work late but someone who was there told me about it.

Oh no! I hope it won't be invite only as I have never been and would love to come

never been either was gonna last week then ended up working late so never made and now my poor old girl is off the road again as its now got sparking issues

From what I can gather the new location will have a single entrance & exit and it will be manned so that no chav cars can come in, clios, escorts, fiestas, corsas etc. There are fairly strict rules on who can and can't bring a car in. If you have a VAG car, standard or modified that's cool. You'll park it in a set area

The first meet is tonight, 8.00pm. I know where the new location is but I'm not going to make it public. Not sure how the new location and system will work but we'll see. If you want to know the location you have to join the Dub Club Facebook page and post a photo of your car, they then PM you. Quite long winded I know but they've felt this was necessary to make the meet safer and get rid of the chav element that has grown with the popularity of the meet

Where you going to meet up ? as I would like to tag on

not sure yet were abouts are you I'm cv6 north coventry

M42 solihull

up the road then really so you would be coming in via the A45

Yes I can do that if you give me a meet point via sat nav I could join you ?

i going away in the morning but how about

the white lion pub Hawkes Mill Lane, Coventry, CV5 9FQ (rear car park say 7.45pm on wednesday the 3rd of september)

I havnt been to this meet for a few years now - literally last time I went was about 20-30 cars and 0 hassle... But still follow vaguely on Facebook what goes on... Seems now a very good meet & popular, just had issues with idiots basically... New location idea is good, hassle but justified to keep the meet going and safe for everyone.

Might show my face in future, be good to get some polos going down there :)

Good turnout last week kinda made me feel bad about mine

Am ok with that OAP see you then ..
