Mounting coilpack on AFH

Featured Replies

I want to mount megajolt coilpack at same place where existing one is.

I see two screws holding the old one at the rocker cover. Is this right?

Remove these two and it will all fall off?

I want to make a bracket sit the new one Lower so I can put the same plastic facial above it.

Coil packs nowhere near the end of my rocker cover... If your talking about the cover next to the writing on the rocker cover that would be the distributor. The coil pack shil be on the end of the wire that goes to the middle of the distributor. On mk2f's it on the side of the passengers aide chassis leg, not sure where they are on 6n's..

Okay with megajolt I don't need distributor? remove that along with old coilpack and mount the bracket on those two bolt holes.

Coil pack replaces both distributor and coil and can be mounted any ware you want,

Were ever you mount it it will need a bracket fabricating.

Here's one mounted to the back of the alternator

Can't find it. Can I kindly ask what page it's on.

Can I buy a blanking plug? Is it a 27mm thread?

Erm 27mm thread?

Just leave the dizzy in place and don't connect it up,

Seriously if you are asking these questions you need to do more home work.

On the other hand Stinkypete on here might be able to fabricate a dizzy blank and coil pack bracket if you ask very very nice.
