Hi there, I have a slight problem with the pioneer SPH-DA110 stereo that I've bought as it stays on at all times, draining the battery... I'd like to rewire it so it turns off as I remove the key from the ignition like the original one did. As I am only 19 and it's my first decent car, I don't want to screw anything up with my lack of knowledge and experience... Can anyone tell me how to rewire this? I'll be grateful.

Here are the pictures of what I've got...

In the wires from the car, there should be two Red/Yellow wires, these are the "Ignition ON" supply and one Black/Red wire this is the "Battery live" supply, so on either the adapter lead or the wires from the radio, the RED/YELLOW wires need to connect to the RED wire from the radio & the BLACK/RED needs to connect to the YELLOW wire from the radio, then the radio will come on as soon as you put the key in the ignition and go off when it's removed

Well, that only took 30 seconds and worked perfectly well! Thank you very much for your help :)

However, it doesn't save the time or radio stations... Any way to solve that or is it something I'll have to live with?
