Funny only until you consider what could have happened, given that the polo was going so slowly in comparison to the other cars on the track. Having seen that documentary yesterday about the 1955 le mans, where a slow car tangled with a fast car, it could have ended very badly indeed.

Could well be, having to stop a race etc isn't good, along with how it could effect the championship with all the competitors spending £10's of thousands a season.

Apparently as private land etc it comes under some trespassing law, but the punishment for false imprisonment is subject to a longer sentence and more likely to be prosecuted for that over the trespassing, so basically whoevers dealing with it has decided that he's a bellend and deserves more punishment lol
