Original 1992 Volkswagen Mk3 Polo G40

Featured Replies

My G40 is up for sale.
I bought this car in 2008.
After being stood since 2009 after it melted piston it has had a new engine fitted (sourced from Polo Performance Parts) this engine has had the previously fitted Big Valve Head installed with VW gaskets, bolts and a new cam belt.
The car has now been in use every day since March 2014 and has been running spot on with no issues and doing around approx. 120 miles a week.
Car is generally in very good condition but could easily be made perfect with someone elses attention and wallet After £5k + input into this car, I cant warrant anymore.
I've got back in it after the melted piston in 2009 this year and settled the score with myself so Ill never be wondering what if before I let it go.

Real shame your selling this Laura as it is a very tidy car and the new owner will not be disappointed !

Shame to see you leaving the scene to. :(

One of my all-time favourite G40's.

Good luck Flors x

Pics added to photobucket of drivers sill which looks a bit dented and grotty but is solid. Battery tray is solid.

Wish I had the money so I could add this to my little Polo collection.

Great looking little G40, hope it finds a good home.

Buyyyyy meeeeeee :D

Lovely car - who fitted the new engine, do you know much about the new engines history.

Husband fitted new engine and the engine came from PPP. Like I said in advert, running every day approx 120 miles and had no problems

Engine used to belong to Vikram over on ClubG40, but was replaced with a 1341 unit. PPP had sold me the engine, although it wasn't touched by them. It was a relativly low-miler, I will have to dig through my old messages to find out the specifics.

I offered Laura the engine, as I knew she was in the need. The BVH would have come from her old engine.
