I WNa put rare blanks on my side indicators but not got a clue how this will effect cars legality :/ anyone know????

If your referring to the side repeaters on the wings? then technically it will fail the MOT if they are deleted, but it all comes down to the tester!!

Required on mk2's regd after 1987. Facelifts probably don't but expect a discussion with the tester.

my g60 came like it from europe on a 91 plate , I've never swapped em and not got any bother in 10 years , but yeah you could get hassle over it

If you have only blanked it, it will draw attention to the fact it is missing.

If you weld and smooth the wing so it looks like it was never there you will be much more likely to 'get away with it' although you of course should still have it.

I can't imagine you having a problem with it tbh, if your using a propa vw blank.

It all goes on year. I know with my mini which is a 1984 I don't have to have them so if yours is around that age and you make it look like there has never been side repeaters there then I don't think the MOT tester will ever know, and probably won't check. Tbh if you can see the fronts from the side anyway you shouldn't have a problem
