Wheel bolts different from alloys to steels?

Featured Replies

Ok I'm changing from my bbs rx2's on my 6n to a set of regular steels (mk3 golf) , can i use the bolts that are on the car just now or will they be to long / different radius? etc ?

I of course threw the bolts away from the steels that were on the car originally ....

Mark.

Aslong as you wernt using longer bolts to accomadate spacers theyll be fine. The bolt width will the be the same otherwise your current wheels wouldnt fit.

After all that , the bolts holding the alloys on were fine.... Not to long at all. Assuming they have been too short for the alloys ?!?

Aslong as they are the radius type and not the tapered type you should be fine.
