hi all i have brought a set of coilovers and i have just pressed some bearings in. is there a tutorial on here that i can read though to get a rough idea on how long it will take etc

With the correct tools it took me half an hour each side on a 6n2, but I have previously worked as a mechanic for a few years. It all depends on the car, and any unforseen problems that may occur

It shouldn't take that long as long as u wire brush all the threads and soak in wd40 the day before u do it. I mean all u have to do is remove caliper undo lower ball joint and track round end then undo top mount swap disc over and refit. I would undo top mount first Before u jack the car up though as this will probaly give u the most problems.

It can be a pain in the arse on a MK3 to be fair. Especially if you've never really done anything mechanical before. I think the first time I did it I wrestled for about 6 hours. By the end of my playing with Polos it was a 30 min job.
