Featured Replies

So tomorrow I pick up my new daily/project and I'm so excited!

My list or 'To Do's' in order consists of:

  1. Wiring Rev Counter
  2. Wiring engine Temp
  3. Some sort of stereo
  4. Boost Gauge
  5. Tailgate - Truck comes with one but needs re-paint before i will use it
  6. Lid for the liner - going to build one with my old man, thinking steel frame with cream waterproof canvas?
  7. Interior - Seats, carpet and headliner
  8. Dash conversion - Truck comes with a polo (6n i think) dash which should fit with minimal modification and may aid in getting the electrics all wired up.

Got loads of ideas and loads of plans, first outing will be Volksfest at the weekend. was hoping to get on the straight but my license is still at DVLA so i doubt they will let me :(

will get some more pics up in a bit.

anyways, thoughts, ideas and comments are always welcome!

Been up to Volksfest London today and got 3 runs down the 1/4 mile

16.38 @73mph

16.21 @83mph

16.34 @86mph

not bad for an old tractor!

At Santa Pod next weekend for Bug Jam so will try a few runs without the heavy load liner and see what sort of difference it will make.

Aiming for Sub 16 which should be realistic without too much work
