I'm 20year old which doesnt help as most want you to be 21? Held a license since march. Only want a day to drive a car home? Anyone got any recommendations?

You can't do it mate.

Have to have held a licence for at least a year. There aren't any short term insurers that will cover you if not.

I got quotes of around £47 from the ones that covered under 21s. But I've had my license 2 years, they're quick quotes any way so worth a try.
