A bit of a blast from the past...10 years or so since this car showed face on Club Polo.

It's not been on the road in the same length of time, had an MOT or been taxed. It was however resprayed, had the cylinder head overhauled and few other bits and bobs. Unfortunately it's now solid gloss black instead of the original LA9V metallic black. It has lost the original GT seats and instead now has a pair of Genesis seats with no bolsters.

Scrap value but with only a couple of little niggles to sort out...mostly cosmetic...couple of mechanical issues then will get it MOT'd. PayPal receipts so far for replacement boot badge sticker, red bumper tape, Scirocco GTII seats, stainless 4 branch (lower than standard Polo seats, bolstered and match the rear bench fabric).

Once MOT'd I'm going to toot around in it and sell the Clio. Might fit a few fun bits I have lying around. Number one rule to keep me on track - anything that comes off has to go back on the same day so it stays drivable.

Couple of Instragram snaps from the second night I had it. Changed the bumper, removed badge badgeless grill, removed fog lamps, fitted powder coated BBS, new wheel bolts, red centre caps, Yokohama A048 tyres, steering wheel and gear knob.

Also removed alternator. Given it a bit of an overhaul and I'm set to refit that on the weekend. Next job after that is fitting some G40 front brakes as the GT ones are seized solid. Looking like whole strut is going to come off to enable the carrier to be removed.

Was it owned by Del/DelG40? Had RX2's on from what I remember.
