Good points:

I purchased the polo estate as a work horse for transporting tools between jobs, general trips to the tip and housework. Loads of space and really good mpg return. Your not going to win any races with the 1.9 SDI but you get 60mpg. I’ve fitted MK3 GTI front seats as the originals where worn and not secure. It’s lowered on coilovers (not sure what make was on the car when purchased) 15inch VW Golf Mk3 BBS with nearly brand new tyres 6-7mm each Goodrich tyres 195/50/15.

Had new clutch fitted last year when brought as it popped a week after I got it.

Had new wheel bearing and handbrake cables for last MOT.

Engine still strong

The plan was to use a spare 1.8T and convert into a scrap sleeper but other projects and newer car force sale.

Have few spares; including sump, top mounts and engine mounts

Bad points:

It’s a work horse; it has scratches, dents and rust. It not a “rat look” it “scrap look”

The front grill trim is broken, roof dented, drivers wing dent, and various other rust patches pictured. Exhaust knocking requires new rubber.

Was going to flatter it down and get it dipped.

hello there if it doesnt sell can i have first dips of the front bumper and the boot plastic black piece what screws on and both wings and maybe few various bits and bobs
