1987 Mk1 Caddy pickup for sale. I brought the caddy as a project and have spent a small fortune on getting it to where it is, but due to family commitments I cant carry on. More about the caddy..

Basics:

• 1987
• 1.6 petrol 5 speed
• 12 months MOT
• 6 months Tax

Exterior:

• Finished in BMW chocolate brown
• Chrome U.S spec Bumpers front and rear
• Underneath has been treated including the arches
• Chrome surround Single headlight grill
• Chrome door handles and mirrors
• All arches have been rolled and tucked to a high standard, no rust at all!!

Interior:

• Standard cream cloth
• Brown dash

Brakes and Suspension:

• Standard brake set up
• New JOM front coilovers
• New rear shortened beetle dampers
• New rear leaf spring bushes x6
• New rear wheel bearings
• New o/s/f bottom ball joint
• New U-Bolt lowering kit
• All parts fitted this week

Buying the caddy as a non-runner I took it down to my local specialists J-Tech Automotive where it underwent a full inspection. The Following work was carried out… New fuel pipes, plugs, rotor arm, cap, new battery, oil flush and change including filter, throttle cable grommets, fan switch, coolant flush, plug lead set and inlet manifold gasket. Now runs as it should do!!

The Previous being really clever lost all the paper work, so the only papers I have with the car is the work iv had carried out, parts and log book! The car has 80k on clock, whether this is the correct mileage I'm not sure?

Body work the caddy is in good condition. There is rust around the rear bubble window from the inside only, small patch of surface rust on the bed and patch in the o/s/f footwell. The fuel gauge is currently in-op. two small cracks in the paintwork o/s/r panel.

The caddy really doesn’t need much to finish her of, in my eyes she needs interior and a decent set of wheels. The sale will come with a load of spares including a roof rack!!
