Spillage down centre console dash...

Featured Replies

So I was cleaning my dash and I had a spray, well stupid me missed a bit dribble down the area shown below, between the dash and the centre console plastic. I can't get some of the torx screws off the underside of the console to get it out and clean it up. It wasn't very much at all but I was wondering if that area was exposed behind it to any wiring that could potentially be dangerous if they got wet. it might seem trivial but I'd like to check it with anyone with good knowledge of rear of the console. I removed the vents but above and behind them it's sealed off so if anything dribbled down it would've gone behind the vents - perhaps it would go into where the stereo is?

Could take the radio and check. But I've done it countless times and never had anything go wrong. It usually just stays in the gap and dribbles around.

Disclaimer: if your car does burst into flames don't say I said it was okay

I'll take the radio out and check it and if I see nothing then I'll just try to forget about it. I'm a real worrier :(
