Hi, I'm 18 just got my licence and I've been quoted £2,913,06 for a year? Anything I can do to lower this, I also have pass plus. Any tips and tricks?

You're a new driver so that is a big hindrance to getting low quotes but you could add an experienced female driver to your policy. With some companies this makes a good difference. Other than that, it's about the model of the car and whether insurers have had bad claims experience of that model. Try to select a make and model that not many people have and therefore their claims experience will be better. Don't buy one with modifications, just keep it standard. Shop around for the best deal taking these things into account as all insurers are different in their requirements.

It's worth mentioning that some insurers price TPF&T higher than Comprehensive so don't think you'll get a saving by going for the lower level of cover.
