Front wheel problem

I bought a set of 7.5 x 13 wheels for my 1991 polo GT. I have now lowered it 60mm on the front and 40 mm on the rear, but on the front the wheels seem to rub. I think it's the offset on how they sit in the hub but I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I don't want to have to sell two front wheels. Thanks

Wrong forum champ. Have you been able to see what they are rubbing against? 7.5in is pretty wide on the front of a Polo.
