Hello!

I am sadly having to sell my polo coupe which I have owned for the last 4 years. Over this time I have restored it, and I can proudly say I have driven it daily during this time and it has never let me down.

Spec:

86,000 miles, I have owned her since 56,000

Genesis spec interior, including rare split rear seat

Factory sliding steel sunroof - leak free and lovely on summer days

Standard 1043cc single point injection engine, very nice reliable little engine!

I have replaced the original doors with rust free replacements

Resprayed in original colour VW steel blue (both sides and boot resprayed, bonnet and roof are original paint)

G40 arches and sill trims, door bump strips deleted (I have a set of door trims I can include if required)

G40 B pillar vinyls

TA technix 60/40 sport lowering kit (dampers and springs)

G Laderseite ARB blocks

New TCA's and bushes

Timing belt replaced at 60,000 miles, along with head gasket and a head skim.

New exhaust centre silencer section

New front discs and pads, rebuilt rear brakes with new cylinders.

Sports steering wheel

13x5.5 Weller steel wheels

Blaupunkt DAB CD player

Regularly serviced by myself, replacing oil, oil filter and spark plugs. Comes with tonnes of history, MOT certificates, parts reciepts including original purchase receipt from VW. I will include a pair of G40 brakes in the sale, stripped ready for rebuild, and a brand new pair of G40 vented discs.

Bad Points:

Needs new front wheel bearings, they are rumbling very noticeably at the minute.

Roof has some scratches in it where the previous owner washed it with a gritty cloth.

Steering wheel wobbles at around 55mph as the wheels need a set of spigot rings / balancing.

MOT end of Jan 2015, Taxed until end of November
