Mk1/2 34'' Webber Carb for 1.1 (1093) engines. NEW.

Featured Replies

I'm selling this Webber which I bought a couple of months ago to put on my mk2.

I tried to fit it with my mechanic but realised that as it's a 34'' for a golf (rather than the 32'' for the polo) it comes with the wrong mount which sets the carb at 90 degrees the wrong angle, this makes it impossible to hook up the accelerator cable. So I bought a new polo mounting plate to fit it but Its been a while and my car is running mint after we tinkered with it so I don't think I'll bother fitting this. I would have just sent it back for a refund, but because I've opened up the packaging and got my grubby paws on the instructions I cant :sorry:

Anyways Its up for sale. I payed £190, Its obviously as new so I'm looking for £170. I'll post it for free 8>)

p.s. There is also a choke cable but I forgot to put it in the pic (facepalm)

Thanks for the tip!

With my pre-metric upbringing I read 34" as 34 inch.

Actually pretty close 34ICH which is a fine carb for 1.1 to 1.3. Good luck with the sale.
