Polo gti 6r 2011 problems help!

Featured Replies

Over the last few weeks the engine management light has started flashing & then going off, but tonight it started flashing then stayed on? Light is now not going off!

Sometimes when maybe halfway down on accelerator, turbo kicking in slightly it feels like the car is juddering slightly like losing power for a split secondbthen kicking back in, does this a few times then fine?

Car is completely standard.

Any idea what this could be?

First Welcome to the forum.

The only way to find the problem is to get the car onto VCDS/Vagcom this will give you a fault code and from this you can start the fault finding, otherwise you'll be changing components just in the hope of a fix !! So even if it costs £30 to get the codes read it will save you money in the long run :)

Pressume just get this done @ a vw garage? I'm clueless when it comes to cars haha!

A VW garage will charge you an arm & leg for the code read !!! Most good independent garages will have the required kit to correctly read the codes, you might be lucky and someone on here local to you might even be able to do it for the price of a beer ?? So it might be an idea to put a posting in the Polo Chat section for anyone in the Glasgow area who has VCDS/Vagom who'd be prepared to help out ??
