I am currently driving a Peugeot 307cc however I have always had a love of the Polo.

Welcome along personally I think that the 1.4tdi is the most reliable. All depends what shape/year your buying, end of the day all cars having lists of common faults so you could buy one that never has a fault or one that will constantly break down on you. All down to luck IMO
