Mk2f gunmetal grey polo 1.4 ABD

Featured Replies

Hi

For sale is my mk2f polo in gunmetal grey. Bought about 18 months ago as standard and has since had lots of mods.

These include:

AP springs & shocks all round (60/50)

BBS RA's 15"

Porsche Tombstone Seats

Clear side & front indicators

De-badged front grille

Fully rebuilt, head and bottom end (with genuine VW parts), 1.4 ABD engine with raised compression ratio

Ported head

272 cam

GT Gearbox (had new seals with the engine rebuild)

Honda CBR 600 carbs

GT clocks

AEM Wideband

Oil Pressure and Volt gauges

Black G40 interior

The engine did a 15.2 at pod on budget tyres. Its showing about 110k miles but the clocks were changed and its more like about 95k, I have the old clocks to prove it. It’s also had a new petrol tank & cambelt when the engine was changed.

Good points:

- Handles well

- The engine is awesome (sounds amazing)

- 12 months MOT

- 6 months tax

- Its just had new discs and pads

Bad points:

- Some of the body work is bad, the worst bit being the front passenger side wing. I can send photos.

- Could benefit from a new battery, but still runs fine.

- It doesn’t have any rear seats if that bothers you.

Price: £1150

Don't forget under the new tax rules you can't sell the car with the tax, you have to surrender the disc and it's the new owners responsibility to tax it immediately on buying it!!
