Previous car history: My first, ish. I do also have a Porsche 944 but it's off road atm, insurance prices on that 3.5L for a 21 year old aren't cheap!

As long as humanly possible, and then a couple more years after that. She's already got about 103k miles (around 25k of which are mine), and my family guesses she's only got another 50k or so left in her. Nah. She's my first car and she'll be my last, even if I have to replace every nut and bolt a hundred times over. I'll be driving this when I'm 60, and when I die, I'll have her compacted and buried in my grave with me.

I got the 944 for my 17th birthday, but I'm not actually as spoilt as getting a Porsche for your 17th sounds. It was only £1200 on autotrader and it needed (still needs) a hell of a lot of work inside and out, which my dad is keen on me helping with. But I don't, because I'm too preoccupied with making the polo look and run amazing, and spend a good few hundred £ a month on it.

Our family has 3 cars in total: a Porsche 944, a Rover 600, and a 22-year old 1-litre Polo - and out of all of em, I prefer the Polo. Perhaps that says something about me
