Rust free shell with under 80k miles on it

Coilovers all round

Spare set of 60/40 lowering springs and shocks

256mm brakes and uprated master cylinder, all new brake lines, rear cylinders etc etc

1.6l 16v engine, fully balanced, block has been honed and skimmed. 2 heads, 2 sets of cams, pair of original Italian dellorto dhla40's, facet red top pump, filter kings filter/pressure regulator.

This does all need building up, it's all there though, new stretch bolts, bearings, rings just needs a clutch!

Square headlights and grill (very rare!) Set of normal round headlights and matching grill

Original Brown interior

The engine bay has been totally stripped and smoothed then painted metallic gold (sets off really nicely against the Brown)

Ally rad (brackets to mount have already been welded into engine bay)

Probably forgotten loads and loads of bits, been hoarding stuff for this build for nearly 6 years!

Are the carbs on the car?

Carbs are in the same box as the engine if that counts?

The 1.6 16v isn't a hard job to fit dude. Exactly the same as the afh conversion :) there's a thread to fit the afh so same as that

It's an afh with avy crank conrods and pistons.

How do you mean too tall? Sorry if it seems I'm hijacking this for sale thread but I've done the exact same conversion kike majority of others have now and I didn't have any problem fitting it

If your using the standard 1.6 Gti engine and not a hybrid of the 1.4 16v then the engine is too tall and protrudes the bay, the only way to get it to work would be to run a dry sump system

I'm a welder/fabricator by trade, was gunna make one.

You can buy them but they look shite, they're too short for max power and they're waaaay too expensive.

Just in case you ask, and I forget the name again, they're made by mangoletsi

The block is exactly the same height as the afh. Anyone one looking at buying this shouldn't be put off by any of the posts by this user. The engine will bolt in to this car fine and without the need for any shallow sump or any other bollocks

I probably could have made it clearer from the start to be fair. It's an afh block with avy internals.

Have you still got this I'm only down the Road ?
