Hello there! My name is Victor Jansen, proud owner of a G40 Genesis. I had a Coupé before the G40, you'll find the pictures below.

I'm from the Netherlands, Zwolle. I'm also active on www.g40.nl, a nice Dutch forum dedicated to Polos build before 1994.

Me at the Ring in my first Polo.

The NZ was a nice engine, but I preferred more power. That's the reason that after a year of owning that first Polo, I bought this one!

It is lowered 60cm in the front and 40cm in the rear. It has the Wellems blocks (?) and a 5 hp smaller pulley on it. It is also fitted with the 15inch BBS RA wheels. I bought it like this.

I just received it back from a mate who welded the battery place/thingy. Water was coming in the passenger side when it was raining.

I also just changed the oil from 10W60 to fresh new 10W40 including a new filter.

BUT! After I changed the oil, the buzzer is coming on when the engine is hot... I experienced a lot of buzzers over the time, but most of them where because I was driving to fast in a corner or because the I had to refill the oil.

But I can't explain this one. It is quite annoying when driving it like this. It doesn't feel right.

Why did I signed up for this forum? Because there are a lot of things to learn about my car, including a lot of experts, as I have read in the past year. And because i'm trying to find out why the buzzer is going off this time.

:D
