just done shocks and springs up front and everything is done I'm all excited for the result and i cant get the damn nuts on the pin,

I'm screwing down and the stud just spins with the nut...I've tried levering the end up into the mounting point of the strut with a crowbar whilst tightening and still spins with it....any ideas?????

try using a jack and a lump of wood to carefully push on the ball joint , with enough push on it you will get the nut on

*** dont jack the car up in the air off the track rod- just some pressure***
