Window seal;

Featured Replies

Whenfitting the electric window regulator on my passenger side, I noticed that it seems to be taking in water through the outer window seal. I figured this is probably how the wires rusted through and snapped in the first place.

I can't seem to find the part number online, does anybody know where I could get my hands on a new seal for a 6n? Wanna get one sooner rather than later so the wires don't rust again.

Cheers :)

They cost a lot more than I was expecting! Funny how, of all the little issues I've had, window seal is going to cost more than all of them. Even the mechanism itself!

(Based on a quick eBay search)

Thanks for the numbers, don't know why I couldn't find them!

www.vagcat.com you have to register but it's free, then you can get all the part numbers :)
