Hi guys, my mate has recently bought a 6n2 1.4 16v 75bhp

Car has been fine for the first 2 weeks he has had it and had recently got a symtom of cutting out as soon as he uses and electrics in the car, such as Hazard light, indicators, electric windows, sunroof ect.

Its become very dangerous as it just turns straight off as soon as any electrical component is used in the car while driving. He's lucky if he can get to the end of his road without it cutting out.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what might be causing this problem, he reckons its stared since he fitted an amp and sub to the car but has now been removed and still has the same problem

As those items are supplied by the "X" contact relief relay, I would start by replacing that
