This arrived the other day, been in storage since 2010. 150k on the clock

it arrived about 5.30on mon, was dark so proper inspection had to wait

got it out the other day to size it up. The paintwork is badly faded with poor repairs, scratches have been sprayed over with fresh paint as were the pin stripes .....

rust on the sills arches and boot

engine runs fine with no funny sounds. although there is rust on the sills and arches the actual shell is in suburb contition. Kano for polo3 is goint to cut me the rear arches and a sill off of his G doner car so thats one job on the fix list. might t-cut it and see how the paint comes up

for an old very high mileage car that bodywork looks pretty sound, almost what you would expect from a younger one..respect for taking on the challenge of bringing it back, its always nice when people breath new life into an oldie!

picked these up for it a few days ago

decided to go for a cambelt / water pump change

been doing some cleaning and refreshing as i go along. plastic cleaned with silicon spray and new washers nuts
