VW Volkswagen Mk3 Golf 1.6 CL - Great Condition! Wow! Very cheap! £495

Featured Replies

Here I have for sale is my 1996 VW Golf 1.6 in Dragon green pearl in really good condition despite its age. (Check the paintwork in the last picture).

MOT until April I believe.

Taxed until March but I think that get rebated when the log book gets signed over.

The only bad points of the car would be that it has a scrape on the passengers side of the front bumper and the rear windows don't work due to one side winding down but not back up and the other side is completely unresponsive (Could be a fuse tbh but I haven't checked). It also has a sunroof that doesn't open.

The good points of this car include the excellent condition of most of the paint and it also includes partial service history from 66000 miles upwards and is absolutely mechanically sound. Perfect for a round town runabout or a base for modification. (The 1.6 engine works very well with motorbike carbs instead of injectors to get up to a 20bhp increase in power). It also has central locking, power steering, an airbag and comes with an aftermarket radio unit.
