I'm Steve, 23, an engineer and musician from Colchester.

I drive a 2013 Polo R Line Style, and its quite nice. Cheap to run, and very cheap to insure, which is nice as I've been driving for only a year. Had motorbikes for years though so I know how roads work

Almost lost the car to write off in March as some doughnut smashed into it, causing almost 5k worth of damage. Fortunately insurance stumped up for it. Had to put up with a Corsa for 6 weeks, though.

Currently standard other than a K&N filter, blue interior LEDs and Team Heko wind deflectors.

I plan on lowering it, and a few smaller things, such as tinting my fogs and LED boot lights.

did the insurence compensate you for the devaluation of your car as it's now damage repaired and worth less than it would be before.

The devaluation is covered by my GAP insurance when I took out my finance agreement, according to VW. Some chav in a fiesta flew round a corner in a supermarket car park, lost control and smashed into it.

Someone local ! Lol Shame about it getting smashed up :/ luckily it's still going though :)

Its going very strong. Felt amazing going from a Corsa hire car back to it. I'll look out for you
