I went and bought the invertor and the heater dials! Well I though if I'm gonna put the dials in they may as well light up!

Yeah I do, especially when I had to drag her into Natwest to try and do an international payment to Poland for the invertor after it wouldn't go through online!

Oh and just got home to find this has been delivered to my neighbours shiny shiny!!

Why are you putting 100V behind your dash for illumination?! Can't you get 12v bulbs?

Ps, get a new exhaust gasket manifold & studs/nuts incase they bugger up when fitting...

It's cause it's electro luminescent panel (like used to light up mobile phones). I used this at uni (many years ago), it's cool stuff, but need a high voltage to power it (hence the invertor from 12v to 100)

Yeah good call on the exhaust gasket and studs/nuts. I'm getting my mate at http://dlfclassiccars.com to help out as he's got a four post ramp (sorry shameless plug there!)

GOT IT!

But of a baptism of fire tho, had to drop the owner home and drive home. Major sticky throttle cable!

.....oh and heater doesn't work, and getting used to no power steering

Forgot to say, they gave me these too! First time I've ever been given beers when I bout a car!

Managed a couple of quick pics before heading to work.

Wheels on at the weekend, and try to figure out what's wrong with throttle cable. Must be frayed somewhere cause it's waaaay stiffer than the clutch! And get stuck (nearly shot over a roundabout!)

Man, that's a lot of rust. Yiuve definitely got your hands full!
