Decided that it would be a good idea to get locking bolts for the wheels as there's £215 of new tyres and I've spent all that time getting the wheels sorted ;)

Just had news from the current 'Peggy' the polo owner that their visa's and house sale has been slightly delayed, so more time to save up for 4 branch, chip and exhaust ;)

........or buy my wife an 'i'm sorry for buying so many parts and filling the house with seats and wheels' present ;) lol!

I reckon it would look good with GT/G40 arch & sill trims

Did consider that, but think I'll keep it as it is for the moment :-)

So it's XMAS eve. Wife has just gone on nights shift, daughter is in bed, and I wasn't happy with my bolster repair so what else do you do on XMAS eve.....

.....take a seat apart in your front room, that's what! ;)

Here's the flood bolster compared to the one I bodged the other night

Came from a guy in manningtree I think? Came with the seats I bought. I'll ask the guy I got seats off, see if he's got any more details ;)

You didn't do those wheels yourself you've secretly sent them off to be refurbed haven't you :ninja:

They've come out really nice!

Lol! Did em myself, in the kitchen and front room, just ask my (slightly pissed off) wife ;) ha ha ha. Yeah they've come out pretty well. Not perfect, but pretty good. Just hope they stand up to the elements ok.

Just got email saying that tyres r ready to be collected, so Friday gonna grab these and get them all fitted and balanced. (Then I'll find out how wonky they are!) ;)

Tav's g40 on here is good inspiration. I love 14's on mk2f's. 15's seem a tad to big, and 13's just seem a tad small. My fav is definitely 14's ;)

So as I've it a bit longer to wait for Peggy, thought I'd get some sensible parts! ;)

Decided it was pointless fitting new shocks and springs to old too mounts, so these are on their way. Might also do TCA's at the same time while I'm taking stuff apart :-)
