I doubt you'll find a new set cheaper than PPP on here. I'd recommend you get them for 2 reasons 1. because you are lowering the car, these blocks correct the castor angle 2. the ARB will more than l

also been thinking about engine Mods for the (MPI) NZ lump. Theres not a lot of info on them, as they seem to have only been fitted to early mk2f polo's? (and a few golfs/jettas)......

I did however find this useful spec sheet (might be worth a sticky?) about engines. Including the non-cat NZ lump which is 64bhp, as opposed to the cat version 55bhp. Looks like i'll be getting a stainless manifold from german ebay ;)

simply love the spec sheet.

i have an ABD lump waiting in my shed, so it is nice to see some info about that engine as well.

Very nice.

You know what i did today?

i drove my polo........

You might wanna get arb blocks unless you allready have them? I had that manifold and it's a tight fit with the arb were it is.

Ok mate. I might order some. Where did u get yours from? I've seen them on a German site but PPP sells them on here too I think? Would it make any difference that I've got a 4spd gearbox?

I doubt you'll find a new set cheaper than PPP on here.

I'd recommend you get them for 2 reasons 1. because you are lowering the car, these blocks correct the castor angle 2. the ARB will more than likely be touching that manifold without those blocks.

Having a 4 speed box makes no difference on a mk3 as they all came with the '5 speed' ARB

arb blocks are a bit cheaper from ebay.de , can get em with stainless plates too

Little delivery in the post this morning. So got busy with mini screwdriver set, hack saw & Nail polish!!! Decided against the silver trim rings as against the White they didn't really stand out. So they're up for grabs :-)

Just need to order an invertor to power the backlight dials. For the time being I've kept the original bulbs in and painted the needles to show up. Only slight thing is how I get on at MOT with KPH readout?.... Last owner has marked 30,40 & 70mph with tape?....

Just out of interest, did the manifold fit ok, or did you have to do some 'fettling' to get it on? I know some cheap ones can be a PITA to fit ;)
