Do mk2 Scirocco seats fit polo mk2F?

Featured Replies

as above,

does anyone know if the runners are the same on mk2 scirocco's as the polo Coupe facelift (86c) ? Think someone on here had a White Genesis (now GT) and was gonna try and fit some?

Reason being is that a freind might be picking up a rocco for its engine, and i might grab the seats off him cheap (i want something like GT/G40 bolstered seats but cant find any locally near ipswich)

If they dont fit, do mk2 golf GTI seats fit?......

cheers

Yup straight fit, they are a bit tight width wise, one side touches the door pocket and there's just enough room to get into the handbrake.

No idea about golf seats, maybe mk1's though.

Cheers bud. Will keep my eyes peeled for some GT/G40 seats and failing that will go for the scirocco ones ;)

Rocco ones do, but rocco gt seats are comparable to standard polo C seats.

I think everyone goes for Scirocco seats as they sit lower in the car than standard Polo seats.

I've had a couple mk2 Golfs and found the seats in them are pretty high so would probably be too high in a Polo too. Although they should fit going buy the fact Rocco seats are a straight swap into a mk2 Golf as well as a mk2f Polo.

G40 seats are really comfy for a standard Polo seat though.

Rocco seats fit. I have them in mine, they sit lower than Polo GT/G40 seats as well. If you have a Genesis rear bench and Scirocco GT2 seats then the fabric matches too.

I've had both and I'd rate Scirocco seats over Polo GT/G40 (though both are good). Corrado seats are supposed to be excellent as well.
