porsche pcd adapter bolt size?

Featured Replies

Looking at 4x100 to 5x130 pcd adapters on line, most only come with the bolts to fasten the adapter to the hub, what size (thread pitch) is needed to hold the rim to the adapter? tapered seat? ta.

I'm not 100% sure, but I'd guess they'd be expecting OE Porsche bolts - so I'd be tempted to get a set from a breakers/eBay etc. I'm not sure what the Porsche size is, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it wasn't the same M14 threads as VAG nuts.

They are M14x1.5 which is most 5 stud vag bolt size.

I used ones off a mk3 golf GTi for my porsche adaptors.

If there 20mm or below in thickness you might have to cut the bolts down to get them into the adaptor properly, just so you know. Other wise they'll tighten onto the hub/drum and not clamp the wheel.

Hope that helps.
