Selling a car

Featured Replies

Any tips on best free sites to advertise my audi that I currently have in the for sale section. I had it on eBay and someone won it but never contacted me. I then put it onn Gumtree only to experience the time waster brigade.

It's a cracking car, needs work however for £300 its a bargain or am I asking to much for it?

Anyone interested in swapping for something interesting like a bike and some cash my way etc.

Facebook for sale pages seem to do pretty well on selling stuff and probably s car one or general for sale one for your area you could try

Have you tried putting it on facebook? I'm sure every area in the country has a couple of cars for sale pages?

Gumtree used to be free but now after 1 or 2 cars ads they charge and as you say full of timewasters.

Other than that you could try parking it in a local free car park with a for sale sign in the window?

There's also Autotrader, has worked fairly well for us in the past.

What car is it - the 6n?

Thanks for the response the car is an audi a4 is £300 to much.

£300 for an a4 that sounds like a bargain tbh, I've only found one cheaper than than and it's a 98 :shok:

Must be the time of year.

I drive an audi and always on the look out, only problem is people are shying away from the large petrol engines due to running costs

Pop it on ebay on a 30 day listing with a buy it now price

Thank you not interested in this one bargain price

usedeverywhere.com is really good for cheap cars. Google used then your area.

I put my 6n2 up on usedwalsall and got 4 messages within 30 minutes. Some one came 2 hours later, paid cash and took the car away.
