Polo coupe 86c fox spoilers

I'v had my polo for about 3 years and it's been a great little car. At the moment the things I'v done to the car is lowed it 40mm, put 15 inch ATS Cups with spaces, vinyl the window pilers and a home made front lip.

The front lip was made from left over parts of a project I'm working at the moment winch I'll say a bit more in a sec.

The lip is made from two spoilers from a mk3 coupe, when I was messing around with them I realized the curve is the same as the front bumper curve. As I did not need them any more I thought why not, cut one in half and the other to fit

the the gap.

It reminds me of the Mk1 golf front lip. I get mixed thought's from people if they like it or not but I like it as it's different. It clears most speed bumps but, if it snow to much this year I might become a snow plow. ^^

Right the project I'm working on at the moment is a louvre for the coupe, I had seen some pictures on mk1-2 golfs and I did not think they looked to bad,

I looked on Ebay for some but as louvre spoiler are rare in them self they where in the hundreds, it would be a shame to cut one up to fit to the rear window as well, I decided to make one. The benefits of this were much better than buying an existing one which would not fit. And learn how to fibre glass as I had never done it before.

A quick "bad" Photoshop of what it would look like.

I got a spoiler and made two molds out of fibrer glass. one mold was the hole spoiler and the other just the middle part of the spoiler to make the spoiler wider for the bottom of the window.

So far I'm ready to make the first fibre glass spoiler for the louvre, going to wait after Christmas to start again before I go back to work.

If this does all work out well and I have a final big mold I might make some to sell and then sell the mold off, But I am a Long way to be thinking about that. ^^
