Does anyone know what the 1 represents on the Polo 6n2 GTI seats? Or is it purely decorative?

Good question - I could always understand if it had been a "i" from GTi, but have never been able to work out the "1"

    I remember reading somewhere that they were Mobil 1 style seats - but that's probably just poppycock.
