1991 Mk2f Original GT Coupe

Resprayed in Reflex Silver,i sprayed it myself and considering it was my first spray job its not a bad finish but does have a few blemishes

.

Exterior-- Smoothed and colour coded bumpers,colour coded wing mirrors,arch spats and bumper spats,badges to,Armoured door plates,chrome door handle inserts 1 has been engraved VW POLO GT,Front lights have been tinted inside,clear indicators and side repeaters,late spec rear lights,Aerial has been relocated to the roof.Full green tinted windows throughout the car.

Engine-- 3F has been rebuilt by myself,the block has been Honed,new Piston Rings,seals,head has been skimmed,new valve stem oil seals,Head gasket and new head bolts,water pump,cam belt,clutch was all replaced 6k ago,,clocks show 109k which is true to the car but engine is 6k.Engine and Engine bay have been colour coded.

Transmission-- is the CEG gearbox,,new oil and selector rod seal replaced 6k ago,cleaned up and sprayed silver.

Suspension--,Mk1 Golf rear coilovers,cheap lowering dampers/springs on the fronts,full powerflex bushes,rear axle bushes replaced,green ARB blocks.

Brakes-- VWII calipers,sprayed silver,standard rear drums.

Exhaust-- 4-2-1 exhaust manifold,TA Technix full stainless straight through exhaust system.

Interior--Full G40 seats,GT steering wheel,GT clocks,Alpine stereo and speakers,I've fitted some tweeters into the centre console,chrome trim around dash,Audi style foot pedal covers,Audi window winders,I've also fitted some lights inside the boot.

Wheels--Steffans BCW 7x14 on the rear,6x14 on the front..wheels do have alot of kerbing and tar on the wheels,,all tyres have good tread..

Bad points

Front bumper has some laquer peel due to stone chips.

Rear bumper has some minor cracks.

Passenger wing is damaged caused by the bush ripping from the tca forcing the wheel into the wing.

small surface rust in passenger rear arch lip.

Radiator front bar has some paint chips.

Haha your telling me,but I can't sell it...seems nobody is interested in my gt...I've tried keeping it on the polo forums and Facebook but no joy so I'm gonna have to put it on ebay..

My God I paid 700 for a slightly rusted breadvan because of its low miles and that was a 1.3cl.
