So just looking at buying a load of parts to service my GT swapped 92 bready, but there is 2 sizes one euorcarparts, one taller one shorter.

Also, not sure how to tell if the engine has a swapped GT fuel pump?

As it was a 1L before, are the fuel lines sufficient, just seen someone swapping over in a build thread to larger diameter ones.

What oil are people running in their GT engines?

And finally.. What cam covers fit on these heads?

I've always bought the second oil filter you have linked. They also have a nut on the end for easy removal too.

I have done a GT conversion on a 1.0 mk3 and only swapped the fuel pump, the lines looked to be a decent size to me and the ends of the fuel hoses mated up to the GT connections just fine. I know the mk2 uses smaller lines though.

If you still had the 1.0 pump I dare say you would be lacking power on full throttle. Can you see if the connections to the pump have been played with at all? On the conversion I did I had to file off the locating tabs on the top of GT pump's plug in order to get the plug to fit.

As for oil a decent 10w-40 should be fine.

All mk3 cam covers fit, and I believe the 6n cam cover can be made to fit too. Also that mk2 alloy cam cover everyone seems to like.

Yeah I think I seen the fuel line swap on a mk2 so that could explain that!

I'll have a look at it tomorrow, it probably will have but i'll just check.

I've always used Mobil 1 semi synth 10w-40.

Either oil filter is fine. The short one is for the mk2, the longer one for the facelift, but it doesn't really matter if you put the shorter one on.

personaly if the big one fits you might as well run that for the chance of better filtering

Sweet, well I'm not sure would be nice to use a spanner to take it off haha.

Also, GT running high octane fuel (Shell V power) Bike carbs, stainless headers and exhaust. Is 120hp achievable or more like 110hp?
