I have a 6n2 gti rear beam with discs. One of the bearings has gone so I took the hub off my 8v (car it's going on) which fIt perfectly, however the abs ring doesn't fit as its too big.

Is there seperate type that is smaller for the 8v? As I can only seem to find one type for the 6n2.

I would get a new complete hub with abs ring, but the ones on the 8v are less then 6 months old and will only go to the scrap pile. Tight bigger, I know :)

I will measure them and post up tihe sizes but I imagine there is only 2 sizes.

Also, is it possible to get just the bearings? I know you can get hem for the drum type hubs.

The car that the hub has come off is a 1999 (V reg) 1.4 8v APQ non ABS rear drum brakes.

The rear beam is off a later 6n2 GTI with ABS 232 mm rear discs
