needed urgently mk2/3 rear jacking points

Featured Replies

I need someone that is breaking a car and willing to cut out the rear jacking points on both sides or around that area whatever's easiest. if you could hack out the whole corner if its solid then that would be ideal, both corners of the rear valance on mine are rusty so i could do with that bit as well although that's not essential (mines a coupe). if anyone can help give me a shout, I'm willing to travel to collect or perhaps someone that is planning on coming to the rolling road day at the end of the month can pick up for me if necessary.

any help appreciated as i'm stuck at the moment!

thanks

Liz

If you can find a pic and highlight exactly what you need, Il see what I can do. I've got a pretty decent shell I need to get rid of soon.

Where are you oldboi?

I'll take and upload some pictures which will hopefully make it clearer, but i need a bit of the back section of sill at the rear of the car so its including the corner which joins the arch, a section going into the rear inner arch and underneath as close to rear axle mount as possible and then up underneath and around the whole rear jacking point. i guess easiest thing would be to just cut from inside the floorpan and take that whole corner out but will need a good angle grinder or some other cutting implement!. if its a coupe i could do with both corners of the rear valance where that joins the inner arch as well. Would be easier if you didn't have the rear axle or petrol tank in of course.

Fairly certain I can help. My pipe of doom has completely gone and the edge of the drivers sill isn't good, Il get some pics tomorrow if its not persisting and you can say yay or nay.

The sill on the drivers side has been replaced so that bit doesn't need to be good as long as the underneath is ok or at least better than mine!

thanks a lot
