I have a 03 1.2 Polo 3 door and I have sadly dented the back panel. I want to remove this and I am unsure what to do to remove it and I don't want to take it to a dealer as they charge extortionate prices.

Do I remove the interior back rear door card or is there any other way to do it?

Thanks.

i assume you mean the rear quarter panel? where the wheel arch is

various ways to do it , depends on your tool kit and funds

yes the cheapest easiest way is to try and push it out from inside , you may need to get inventive with some bars and blocks of wood to lever it or hammer agains it

you can also get screw in slide hammers - but then you will have to get rid of the holes , you could fibre glass them if you dont have a welder

bodyshops will have weld on pins that you can use externaly - but id guess thats out of your price range,

Find a 'paintless dent removal' company. Take some photos and ring around for a quote.

yes the rear quarter panel, but is there any way I can take the back inside panel to remove this?

I have contacted these business and the quotes are too much.

yes the interior trims all come off

As said unclip and remove the panel inside, should be a few screws/clips at the most, then try push it out carefully. Dont use anything pointy, you want big flat things like wood blocks. Could be a good idea to try warm the paint up abit first to help stop it cracking.

Mine had a bad one in when i first got it, but it was more of a crease than a dent, so i stuggled. in the end got it best i could then had to fill and paint it. Depends how bad it is really

your need to take a picture of the 'dent' otherwise any advice on removing the dent is irrelavant !

How big is the dent? I get dent aid to do my car park dents (the ones where nobs open their door on your car) and you'd never know they'd been there.
