I've worked out how to post photos on here now, thought id share few photos of her with yous, only done 12,000 miles and interior is mint! would like some info on how i could buff up the paintwork though as it is a bit flat as in what products to use? bit rough round the edges but not for long!

Have you ever used a machine polisher? If not may as well learn now!

I'd recommend getting a heavy/medium cut polish and a finishing polish. Some decent pads (light, medium, strong). You may get away with using light polished and pads if it's not too bad.

Something else that would probably work, but will require a lot of elbow grease, is Auto Glym SRP polish applying it with a foam pad/microfibre. Autoglym SRP could be applied by machine as well.

What ever you do apply at least 2 coats of good quality wax otherwise it will go flat again pretty soon.

use boiled linseed oil for the plastics, do it after the t-cut & wax as it removes the white streaks they leave

Lovely little original breadvan. Hopefully it comes up nice with a good polish.

I like the G3 products for restoring paint. Not cheap you can easily spend over £100 buying the polishes and pads etc. but the result is worth it.

If you are feeling brave and going down the machine polisher route take your time with it, get a variable speed polisher if you can. Use plenty of water so you don't burn the paint. After a bit of practice the results can be amazing though.

id suggest a clay mit , takes off all the bonded rubbish - halfords do the farecal clay mitt for about £13

then try autoglym super resin , just go over a foot square size area again and again until its nice then move on to the next bit

I used Autoglym Super Resin on my 6n, as the white paint was looking a bit worn and naff, and the first time I did it I spent very nearly an hour on each panel, but it came up an absolute treat and looks much better now! Used microfiber cloths and a LOT of elbow grease!

Do a panel at a time as well. Nothing worse than half doing half the car then it raining/running out of time.
